This is a\u00a0common neurological disorder which occurs in 0.5 to 0.8% of the general population.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Aim:<\/strong> To highlight some aspects of epilepsy, a neurological disorder immunological, which causes distress to\u00a0sufferers and their families, provided for a significant percentage of the population, affecting the life expectancy\u00a0and with incalculable social consequences.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Objective:<\/strong> The awareness of every citizen to acquire basic knowledge of epilepsy, the authoritative Nursing\u00a0Interventions in an epileptic attack given with the correct address of first aid to a seizure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Data Sources:<\/strong> The method used to search electronic databases (MEDLINE, CINAHL, GOOGLE, WHO, PUBMED)\u00a0for review of foreign literature, and was selected Greek books, published articles and research studies of the\u00a0last fifteen years. Exclusion criteria were the work of the impossibility of finding the relevant article or the\u00a0existence of foreign language texts which could be translated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Results:<\/strong> Epilepsy is a major public health problem, has important economic consequences and affect life expectancy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Conclusions:<\/strong> The nursing intervention, assessing the status of the patient and goals of care are important parameters\u00a0for control and treatment of epileptic seizures, offering the best quality care and avoiding premature death.
